Included on every plan

  • Bulk create
  • Multi-option and subcategory groups
  • Custom swatch styles
  • Draft and unpublished products hidden from your store's swatches automatically
  • Product info kept in sync with Shopify
  • Translations and Shopify Markets
  • Analytics
  • Live chat and email support from a person

Group limit

Every group counts toward your limit, active or draft.

On the Free plan, once you have 10 groups, new groups are saved as drafts. Drafts don't show on your store. If you try to activate one, you see "You have reached your product group limit. Please upgrade your plan to activate more groups." Upgrade, or delete groups until you have 10 or fewer. Setting a group to draft doesn't free up space, since drafts count too.

Automation limit

The Free plan has no automations. When you reach your plan's limit, the Create Automation page shows "You've reached your automations limit". Delete an automation, or upgrade to Pro for up to 5. The Advanced rules automation type is only on Pro. See Bulk create groups and automations.

AI credits

The Starter plan includes 100 AI credits for Ask AI to edit in the style editor. Each request uses at least one credit. When they run out, you see "You have used all your AI credits for this plan".

Other limits

  • Bulk create scans up to 2,500 products each time you run it.
  • One group per option name: a product can be in only one group with a given option name. It can be in a Color group and a Size group, but not in two Color groups.
  • Unique group names: two groups can't share both the same name and the same option name.
  • Multi-option groups have two to four options. A CSV import supports up to two. See Multi-option and subcategory groups.

API access

API access lets you manage product groups from your own code or AI tools. It isn't tied to a plan. It is turned on per store. Ask for it in the in-app chat. See MCP.
