FD Combined Listings works with the languages and markets you set up in Shopify. You can translate the text in your groups, and shoppers see it in their language. Translations are included on every plan, including Free.
Add at least one language besides your default language in Shopify, under Settings > Languages. Until you do, the app has nothing to translate into.
The page lists three kinds of text:
The middle column shows your default language. Use the search box to find a word or a translation.
The Translations page shows the text from all your groups, not only the one you opened. Each word appears once. Translate "Red" one time, and every group that uses "Red" shows the translation.
When you create or save a group, it picks up translations you already made for the same text. You don't need to translate it again.
When a shopper browses your store in a translated language, the swatches show your translated option name, values and badges. Any text you haven't translated shows in your default language.
Swatch links keep the shopper's language and market in the URL. A shopper on /fr/products/linen-shirt-olive who clicks another color goes to the French page of that product.
Some swatch styles show each product's price. When a shopper browses in a currency other than your store's currency, the product page block shows those prices in the shopper's currency. Shopify supplies the price for each product in the group.
Two limits apply:
In your store's own currency, the swatch for the current product shows the price of the selected variant.
