Ask Sidekick to combine products as variants, rename option values, set swatch colors or find the group a product is in. Sidekick fills in the group form in the app, and nothing changes until you click Save. See Sidekick.
You can now list, create and update groups, and list and update swatch templates, from outside the app. The same API works as tools in MCP clients. Access is turned on per store, so ask us in the in-app chat. See MCP and API.
When a product's variants have different prices, choose Show lowest price, Show price range or Hide all prices under When variant prices differ. The selected swatch now shows the price of the variant the shopper picked.
When you add products to a group, the app fills in the option values from the product titles. If each title ends in a unique code, like a SKU, it now uses that code as the value.
The app now shows in your Shopify admin language when it's English, French, German, Spanish or Turkish. Not every screen is translated yet.
Placement settings now cover more than 220 themes, including both Canopy 4 and Canopy 5.
Polaroid swatches reserve the image size before it loads, so the page doesn't jump.
Swatches and buttons can show the name of the option under the cursor, so shoppers can read it before they click. Turn on Show hovered value in label under the Label tab of a style.
A new group type shows independent rows of swatches, like Tops and Bottoms. Each product belongs to one subcategory.
On the Starter plan, click Ask AI to edit in the style editor and describe the change. You can apply or undo what it suggests, and you see how many credits each change uses.
Import Groups now reads more CSV formats, including exports from several swatch and linking apps. Moving an existing setup takes fewer steps.
In multi-option groups, matching a product to its option combination now has search, clearer selected and unavailable states, and a way to clear the current match.
Group setup now shows clearer validation messages, works better on mobile, shows the app embed status and links straight to the theme editor when setup needs attention.
The app can scan your catalog and suggest groups you can create in one click. Use Auto-suggest groups and load more suggestions when you need them.
A group can use one style on the product page and another on product cards. You turn product card swatches on or off for each group.
Placement settings now have preview links, preset settings for common themes, validation and clearer app embed steps, so you can check where groups show in your theme.
Translate many groups at once, with better search, a way to discard changes, and shared translations for related groups.
The group form now suggests option names, shows clearer validation messages, remembers recent swatch colors, has a reorder mode, and handles large groups better.
The groups list has more filters and keeps them in the URL. You can change the status of many groups at once.
Automations can now be set to Active or Draft, and product matching is more reliable, including SKU handling.
Groups can now have more than one option, like Color and Fit. Each option can have its own display settings, and CSV import supports the new structure. See Multi-option groups.
The style editor has better previews and more styling controls, so you can tune a style before it goes live.
You can set a group to Active or Draft. Draft groups don't show on your storefront, so you can prepare a group before you publish it.
Swatches can show a color, an image or text. You pick the display type for each option to match your store's design.
We reorganized the app's navigation to make your product groups easier to find.
